Professional Experience
Prior to his call to the Bar in 2024, Marcus graduated with a specialized Honours degree from York University in Philosophy and obtained his J.D. from Bond University in Australia. While in law school, Marcus served as the President of the Canadian Law Student Association and was a member of the Bond University Mooting Team that competed at the national Kirby Contract Moot in Melbourne, Australia. Upon returning to his hometown of Toronto, Ontario, he articled at Dyer Brown LLP. His practice is dedicated to civil litigation, specifically focusing on Insurance Defence, Bodily Injury, Property Damage, and Employment Law. He has appeared before the Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, Landlord and Tenant Board, and Workplace Safety & Insurance Appeals Tribunal, including Trials or Hearings in each.
